Review – Ninja Gaiden II
In a nutshell: Ninja combat looks and feels great in this sequel to the original XBOX hit Ninja Gaiden.
Why you should play it: Simply amazing combat that makes anyone holding the controller feel like a complete ninja badass. Awesome weapons that can be upgraded. Fast, furious action that rarely lets up. Finishing moves are brutal and fun. Superb cut-scenes add much needed production value.
Why you may want to avoid it: Can be incredibly hard. Boss battles will frustrate you and can take many attempts before victory is achieved. Camera works against you most of the time. Gameplay gets repetitive quite often.
Final Thoughts: Action games are known for having repetitive gameplay. However, Ninja Gaide II is such a fun and stylish ride that you’ll rarely care. This is a great game that can be a difficult challenge for any gamer willing to take it on. I highly recommend that you accept the challenge and see all that Ninja Gaiden II has to offer.
